The BMW 330i Performance is quite compelling, then again so is any beemers peformance. The 330i is now the second highest model in the 3 series lineup. Since the unveiling of the 335i, the 330 is second, well maybe third compared to the M3. As far as engine types for the 330i and 3 series lineup, all of them are based on a inline 6 cylinder engine, until the latest M3 was graced with a V8 with just hordes of power. The 330i however, for the sake of argument is a very efficient and powerful car. Lighter, faster, more powerful, and more efficient: no other element of an automobile outlines its character as much as their engine. The straight six-cylinder gasoline engine, made from a combination of magnesium and aluminium, sets new standards for perfection and engineering. Why, you say, well simply because the power and performance they obtain plus the performance from a straight six, however not compromising performance on the 330i the fuel economy is a perfect design if you ask me, the engineers at BMW never cease to amaze . Put yourself behind the wheel of one of these bad boys, and still with the power you will have an un compromised performance, and a smooth operating machine. Did you expect anything less from these performance driven engineers. The 330i is a very affordable car for someone looking to get into there first beemer. As far as roominess and comfort, with the 330i you can expect about the same thing from any 3 series, they all have about the same room, different performance. The main differences are the engine types, convertible, and the recently added all wheel drive system, which beeme rhas also perfected. Amazingly, performance wise, the 3.0 six cylinder engine can still operate with utmost performance even with the all wheel drive system. Performance is the name of the game when the constructed the 330i, especially in earlier years, when the 330i was the top performance model in the 3 series lineup. Now you have many choices:
Many of these models offer the same options, including performance package which most get when choosing the 330i, all wheel drive package, convertible, amongst many others. The 330i however now is the middle man as far as performance in the 3 series lineup but don't for one second think the 330i performs any less than the others.
